Miguel and Myeisha were long time friends and decided to attend CSUN together for college. Before school stated, they drove to Target together to buy materials for school, including No. 2 lead pencils, sparkly erasers, water bottles,
Gatorade, Snickers candy bars, and lined notebook paper. Their first class of the semester was Chemistry 101 at 11am. They had this crazy professor who brought cool
chemistry demonstrations to class. In one demonstration, she threw liquid nitrogen on the floor, and it disappeared. In
another demonstration, she mixed zinc and hydrochloric acid solution to generate hydrogen gas, which later she lit on fire with a match. In a third demonstration, she threw some sodium in water, which made the sodium explode.
Needless to say, all the students were impressed. After class, they were hungry so they headed to Subway for lunch. Miguel ordered a turkey sandwich, chips, and a
coke, while Myeisha ordered a salad and lemonade with no ice. They went home and couldn‘t wait for the next class!!!
