support the following foods: Dead Load = 15 psf + the self-weight of the deck and Joists
- lee Load = 20 psf (no reduction applied) You will try four framing options (these aren't necessarily optimal; they were chosen to provide a range
of answers and show the variability you could have): Use the Vulcraft deck and joist catalogs for your selections. You will need to estimate the self-weight of
the decking to select the decking; you may need to iterate a bit to find the selection that makes sense.
For each option, perform a basic cost estimate using the following units costs (these aren't up-to-date or
necessarily accurate for this region but will serve the purpose of this assignment; they include labor and
