Hi there! I have an assignment where we have to debate what we think the human population carrying capacity is. I
am arguing that it is 10 billion, and to support it I have to use the IPAT equation.
(Carrying Capacity will be the Population size (P) at which Human Impact on the Environment (I) reaches a critical value. However, from the I=PAT equation we know that Population size, along with Human Affulence (A) or standard of living, and the Environmental Effect of our Technology (T) will ultimately all factor to determine our Carrying Capacity.)
I'm not sure what to say for the environmental effect of technology and how to connect that to the 10 billion people.
