(a).Briefly explain the power system operating stages (states)as seen in the following figure.

(b). While an electrical power system is operating under normal steady-state conditions, a line to line fault is occurred. This severe fault is cleared by the computer relaying system within half a second and one of the parallel transmission lines is tripped off. Subsequently some of the loads are also tripped off. The action initiated from protection and control system brings the system to a new steady-state operation point. Explain which operating states (stages) have been followed by the system during above events
