Profile Process Piece: Analyzing the Rhetorical Situation Week 1 Assignment Please answer the following questions in complete sentence and  paragraph format. Although this is not a formal essay  assignment, please note that proper spelling, grammar, and  sentence structure are required. This week’s lecture and  Chapters 2 and 3 in your text will help you work through some of the terms within the rhetorical situation. Defining Topic, Angle, Purpose 1. What is your chosen topic? (For example: a profile of Barb  Collins, a volunteer at the local homeless shelter; a  profile of “Shipwreck Days,” a citywide flea market and  festival; or a profile of Burdick’s Grocery, the oldest  family-owned business in town.) My topic on Burdick’s Grocery encompasses what is new about  the firm in regard to what I wish to accomplish on giving  insight about it. The firm has greatly picked in regard to  success registered thus posing an angle of discussion. Success  is a process that incorporates a number of strategies that are  positively linked in the business entity. Dimensions of success  are interrelated owing a well structured array in  implementation. Clear vindication of success is profound in a

profile of Burdick’s Grocery that is so distinct to be honored  as the firm of the year in New Hampshire.  2. What unique angle can you present on this topic? (Consider  what is new about the topic or what unique perspective can  be shared about this topic.) Relationship between success and the vision of the firm are  two distinct guidelines but interrelated. For instance, the  vision of Burdick’s Grocery has all to do with the Grocery’s  success. The beginning justifies the end result is not a myth  but a reality. Burdick’s Grocery’s mission is sustainability,  education and a healthy connection to the land. The firm derives its products from the land in which the firm is centered thus  caring for it means continuous supply in respect to demand.  The farm has really taken off in carrying its activities without  much ado. Lately the firm is selling its own 100% grass-fed and  finished beef, pastured chicken and turkey, eggs from pastured  hens, pastured pork and vegetables from the inn gardens. The  success is owed to basing daily operations working hand in hand  with farmers as expounded in the mission. 3. What is your purpose for writing? (What do you hope to  accomplish? Why are you writing?)
