One could argue what Sammy did in A&P was stupid. But one could also argue it was noble. The stupidity because he and his family knows his decision was rash and it will be hard to find a job now that he quit the grocery store job. But one could also argue nobility.He stands up for the girls even though he gets nothing out of it and will ultimately suffer because of his decision. So...which is it? Stupid or noble? And can you relate this in some way to a decision you have made in your life?
