I am trying to work out what I need to put in the pro forma for this experiment. I have
attached the experiment procedure and the results from the HPLC, along with the Proforma. We were given an excel spreadsheet to calculate the assess the calibration data and I am so confused what I need to do -

Do I give one labelled diagram or all? Labelling the peaks of the one diagram?
How do I calculate the UNCERTAINTY - Is it "The mass fraction of phenol in the effluent sample was 50.00 ± 0.35 mg/L, (where ± 0.35 mg/L represents a coverage interval that includes the value of the measurand with at least 95% probability)."
Phenol can produce a toxic effect on humans through three key mechanisms of exposure:
1. breathing air contaminated by phenol
2. absorption through the skin or;
3. by ingesting products contaminated with Phenol. (National Pollutant inventory database)
According to the Australian Water Quality Guidelines for Fresh and Marine Waters (ANZECC, 1992):
Maximum of 50 micrograms per Litre (i.e. 0.00005 g/L) in fresh or marine waters.
The oral LD50 value for humans has been reported as 140 mg/kg (Wiley, V-C-H, p.517)
The concentrations of phenol and 2-cholorphenol that were detected in the industrial effluent do meet the guidelines for drinking water???
