I need help better understanding PV, yield to maturity, coupon rate and maturity years. my course teaches how to find the answers via finance calculator, but I need a better understanding of them individually
if PV is 102.32, coupon is 4.5 and maturity is 30 years, the financial calculation tells me that the yield to maturity (YTM) is 4.36.
what I do not understand is the detail behind these variables and how they relate to each other with regard to finding yield to maturity or any of the other variables
