Next, develop an outline for your Final Paper to include the following: A Ttle page in APA format. ±he outline of the plan contains all of the components as idenT²ed in CPG101 (Note: CPG 101 - Appendix C) to include: city, town, or state that this plan is wri³en for and the agency/chief o´cial who will approve and sign the plan. ±he purpose of the plan and when it will be implemented. An outline of the ²ve annexes (must include a minimum of one from each of these FuncTonal, Support, and hazard speci²c for your Emergency OperaTons Plan (Note CPG101 – Chapter 3 - page 34 and Appendix C). A reference page in APA format with ²ve scholarly or professional references (O´cial government websites) in addiTon to the course texts and documents. ±he outline must be three to ²ve pages in length (excluding Ttle and reference pages) and forma³ed according to APA style as outlined in the Ashford WriTng Center. You must use at least ²ve scholarly or professional sources (at least two of must be from the Ashford University Library) other than the textbook to support your claims. Cite your sources in-text and on the reference page. Final Paper Understanding the intricacies and challenges of emergency planning is not possible without actually undertaking the preparation of an emergency plan. During this assignment, students will develop a comprehensive plan for a town or city of their choice using the FEMA Comprehensive Preparedness Guide (CPG) 101 . Develop your plan using: Real attributes, such as critical infrastructure within the town or city when developing the plan. Various special needs populations (i.e., hospitals, schools, retirement facilities, populations requiring special handling.) Natural hazards (i.e., hurricane, tornado, flooding, or wild fire) when developing the plan. The plan for your jurisdiction will contain a basic plan and a minimum of five annexes to include:

Must be 10 to 12 double-spaced pages in length (excluding title and reference pages), and formatted according to the FEMA Comprehensive Preparedness Guide (CPG) 101 . 2. Must include a title page, in APA format, with the following: a. Title of paper b. Student’s name c. Course name and number d. Instructor’s name e. Date submitted 3. Must begin with a basic plan that lays out the authorities and responsibilities for the plan. It must include each element as identified in Chapter 3 of the Comprehensive Preparedness Guide (CPG) 101. 4. Must contain a minimum of five annexes as described in Chapter 3 of the Comprehensive Preparedness Guide (CPG) 101. Plans must include a minimum of one functional annex , (i.e. transportation, communications, emergency operations center), one supporting annex (i.e., continuity of operations, warning, or protection in place, mutual aid), and one hazard, threat, or incident – specific annex (i.e., tornado, hurricane, or fire). Other annexes may include procedures for protection in place or evacuation.
