Question

Java Programming: Make a java program to prompt the user to input a decimal number and output the Binary equivalent.

SAMPLE PROGRAM OUTPUT:

• INPUT A BINARY NUMBER: 7
• DECIMAL EQUIVALENT: 111

NOTE: Please follow the image below: DO NOT USE THE "Integer.toBinaryString" code! Make a program that follows the image provided.

DECIMAL to BINARY (Nie to N2) CONVERSION DIVISION METHOD 1. Divide the decimal number by 2 and record the resulting quotient and remainder 2. Divide the last computed quotient by 2 and record the resulting quotient and remainder 3. Repeat STEP 2 until the computed quotient reaches ZERO. 4. When the quotient reaches zero, read the remainders in reverse order - this is the binary representation of the decimal number being converted. Example: 105 to N2 Example: 88 to N2 105 / 2 - 52 r. 1 88 / 2 - 44 r. 0 52 / 2 = 26 r. 0 44 / 2 - 22 r. 0 26 / 2 - 13 r. 0 t 22 / 2 = 11 r. 0 13 / 2 = 6 r. 1 11 / 2 = 5 r. 1 6 / 2 = 3r. 5 / 2 = 2r. 1 3/ 2 = 1r. 1 2/ 2 = 1r. 0 1/ 2 = 0r. 1 1 / 2 = 0r. 1 t Stop converting. Quotient has reached ZERO - read the remainder in reverse order) Therefore: 105 = 11010012 Therefore: 88 = 1011000, NOTE: The number of iterations to convert the decimal number of binary is not always completed after 7 iterations. The fact the both examples ended after 7 iterations is purely coincidental. It just happens that both numbers can be represented in 7 bits. However, what's certain is the last line in the conversion process should always be 1 / 2 = 0 r. 1
