Hi there, i'm trying to write an essay on Rebecca, and how Narrator just brushes off Max's confess to killing
Rebecca, because she's sure that he loves him. I don't have time to finish the book, and need a quote that proves this. My thesis is along the lines of Max tricking Narrator to fall in love with him to replace Rebecca, anything will help.
