Corporate Leadership Study
Each student will choose a CEO from one of the 100 Best Companies to Work for in America to study.
The study will include (1) documenting that person's achievements, (2) applying one appropriate leadership model to that person such as servant leadership, transformational leadership, authentic leadership, situational leadership, etc. (describing the characteristics of the model and then how the leader measures up to each of these characteristics or behaviors), (3) assessing the delivery skills of innovation (associative thinking, questioning, experimenting and networking) as they are exemplified by the leader being studied, and (4) drawing lessons for other leaders. The paper should be well researched and referenced, including at least five sources, three of which must be from sources external to the firm the leader works for. Here are the first-level headings your paper should have.
