Hi help please. I have a concern if based on the below, would it be rehabilitation or ada? I do know that they are
the same and definitely not the civil rights act. Ada requires 15+ employees for coverage. Rehabilitation act covers gov contractors or federally funded activity. What is throwing me is that Acme is a private sector and does not receive fed funds. So..then is this a violation of ADA perhaps?
John is a disabled employee of Acme Cleaners, a private sector dry cleaning company that employs some 75 people. Acme does not receive federal funds nor does it have any federal contracts. John believes that Acme has discriminated against him in his employment on the basis of his disability.
