(is it the unit for dipole is N/m^2 and pole is Am?)

2) When correctly oriented to produce a zero field region the bar magnet should be aligned so its north pole is toward the north or is it the south?

3) The magnetic field of the earth is not horizontal at Kalamazoo, it comes into the earth at some angle. Since this is the case, how to determine the zero field region? How does this affect the value obtained for µ?
