   When I think about my career goals and future I have concluded that I want to be a Counseling, Psychologists. I have worked in the mental health field for about 14 years and have held various positions during that time span from residential care worker to community support specialist. Counseling Psychologists will give me the opportunity to help people become solution focused and not problem focused. I have always been a person whom people look for to help them solve personal issues as well as finical issues. In this role, I will be utilizing my talents in a professional way to benefit others and leave an imprint on the world.

Over the years in the mental health field, I have watched how therapy can be effective and then again not so effective. A well-trained professional will utilize research and reason to aide a counselee in crisis and not project his or her own views or own problem-solving techniques as a one size fits all endeavor.
