The Impact of Behavior in African American Male Students in the Classroom


Quantitative design that will align with the problem statement:
For this analysis, the descriptive design is the best quantitative design. Descriptive research is used to characterize a population or phenomenon. This style would help demonstrate the effects of African American male students' classroom behavior. This research design was chosen because it is appropriate for defining characteristics, frequencies, patterns, and categories. It's useful when there's not a lot of information available on a particular subject or issue. Before you can investigate why something happens, you need to understand how, when, and where it happens. A rationale for your decision and citations from peer-reviewed resources. The majority of the researchers have been studying African American males' success and behavior for more than 20 years. Disparities in low performance, suspensions, and access to comprehensive courses persist in public schools across America when compared to African American males. According to Marshall (2016), perceptions, practices, and perceptions of students of color are all concerning because they contribute to the achievement disparity that exists in the United States between students of color and other students. Schools would continue to be deserts of suffering for African American males if researchers do not find ways to close the gap. As a result, further research into the backgrounds of African American males in public schools is warranted. African American males appear to be oppressed and stigmatized at a higher rate than their peers in American schools. Because of their marginalization, many African American males do not have access to the rigorous classes and "healthy teaching" required for them to contribute meaningfully to society. Almost half of the African American males do not graduate from high school or earn a G.E.D. Equivalent in four years, implying that educators' discussions about African American male successes are typically negative.
