4. Identify subjects who will be enrolled in weight loss plans.
a. Write SAS code that randomly assigns overweight subjects to either a diet-based or exercisebased weight loss plan. To determine if a subject is overweight, first calculate their BMI BMI=weight /height2 where weight is in kg and height is in meters. Having BMI>25 is considered to be overweight. Assignment to either weight loss plan should be made with equality probability. Creat a brief report that includes your methods and a print out of the following information for participants who are eligible to take place in this part of the study only: id, age, sex, BMI, treatment assignment (values: "diet" or "exercise"). Briefly report your methods and results (1/2 pag.).
b. Assuming the observed standard deviation of BMI observed in the set of overweight subjects, calculate the power to detect a difference in mean BMI of 2 kg/m2 assuming a balanced design. Briefly report your methods and results (1/2 pag.).
