A researcher for a large pharmaceutical company is testing a new drug designed to reduce what are called "cluster" headaches. This new, as yet untested drug, is called "No-Ache", or NA for short. He believes that NA will reduce the number of cluster headaches per week for chronic cluster headache sufferers. For a week prior to the administration of NA, each participant records the number of cluster headaches suffered. These are called the pre-treatment or baseline scores.
