The mean combined SAT score for a sample of high school seniors is 1500 and the standard deviation is 250. What percentage of students scored below 1000? What percentage of students scored above 1750?

I got as far as 1000-1500/250=-2.

  • You have to refer the standard normal table. You can get this table online. Here is the one I referred to : https://www.math.arizona.edu/~rsims/ma464/standardnormaltable.pdf.
