namely, relationship with supervisor, overall quality of work environment, total hours
worked per week and opportunities for advancement. From literature review, she also
noticed that an individual’s passion at work enhanced on employee’s job satisfaction on
top of the abovementioned characteristics.

2 PRE REQUISITE(S) MGT101 PRINCIPLES OF MANAGEMENT QBM101 BUSINESS STATISTICS SYNOPSIS This course is to provide the students with a framework for conducting research in a systematic manner in all areas of business. It will introduce the various research methods and students will be exposed to practical experience in data collection and data analysis. It is also designed to help students inculcate the art of presenting research findings in a lucid and informative way. OBJECTIVES Upon completion of this subject, students should be able to: translate a research problem into a feasible research question; appreciate research as a process that involves a sequence of activities, each compatible with the preceding stage(s); have a thorough understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of alternative research designs; identify many sources of business information and be aware of the various means for gathering such information; be more sensitive to the biases and limitations of data analysis.
