Hey so I am writing a paper that is supposed to answer "How did the Gilded Age force Americans to confront traditional understandings of freedom?" and I will be using "Looking Backward" by Edward Bellamy. I have a start on the essay but I really am unsure on what to do. If you could please provide steps for me or even how to go about answering this question that would be amazing.

SIDE NOTE: Bellamy's book covers more about social reform but I am finding it difficult to find info or things about freedom overall.
