This is one of my arguments for my essay:

During the speech, Zhdanov also focuses on uniting the East and few of the West European Communist countries. By shedding a negative light on the Americans, European countries come to see imperialism as a 'dreadful' concept. This would unite them to resist the possible threat of being reduced to colonies. One way of attempting to unite Communist countries is by using rhetorical strategies for example, the use of personification in the 3rd paragraph of Zhdanov's speech; "It also includes countries that have broken with imperialism and have firmly set foot on the path of democratic development." Here we can see that by saying "firmly set foot,"  Zhdanov uses a human element, to establish an emotional connection with his readers. He expects this would shed a positive light on communism, that others see imperialism as a negative concept and are for communism. This is a way for him to persuade the audience to his side and have them believe that it's a good thing because others are becoming pro-democratic. A second example is shown in Weeks' version of Zhdanov's speech; "During the second World War, the popularity of the Soviet Union grew tremendously abroad. Through its self-sacrificing and heroic struggle against imperialism, the Soviet Union won the love and respect of working people in all countries." After other countries saw how the Soviet Union surmounted difficulties against the current government (imperialism) as well as their willingness to give up their own wishes and interests, working class citizens wanted to join in the fight, and wanted to adopt the same doctorins.

I need help with a sentence transition to my last proof and elaborating on that proof more:

One last example of unification is demonstrated when ___(transition sentence to introduce my last proof)____

"The need for mutual consultation and voluntary coordination of the action between individual [European Communist] parties has become particularly urgent at the present juncture."

This illustrates Zhdanov's belief that it was necessary to unite the European countries who were pro-communists before it was too late. (elaborate better). (concluding sentence)
