1.Identify two jobs that would be suitable match to several or all of your top 5 strengths. For each job you identify, explain why/how that job is suited to your top strengths. Be specific about the job and, if appropriate, the industry. (Saying “Supervisor” is inadequate; rather, you could say “line supervisor in a manufacturing plant”).
NOTE: In answering this question, be sure that you identify jobs that are logically linked to the strengths. Do not merely identify jobs that you have already assumed are suitable or are associated with your current program of study (although you may include these if they are logically connected to your strengths). It is OK if you identify a job or kind of work that you have not thought of before or may not intend to pursue. What’s important here is that the job/work you identify is connected to the strengths.
2. Identify someone who knows you well – ideally someone who has more work and life experience than you (e.g., a parent, aunt/uncle, a mentor), although a friend would suffice. Show that person your top five signature strengths and allow him or her to read your answer to Question 1. Then ask him or her to (i) provide feedback on whether these choices make sense in light of your strengths; and (ii) suggest other jobs, besides those you identified, that may suit your top strengths. (Please note that you should give this person some time to think about their response. Don’t ask them and then immediately expect a response). Include their
feedback here in your write-up. Then, in your assignment, write a response to their feedback – what do you think about their feedback and the job suggestions they made.

Character Strength#1: Love You value close relations with others, in particular those in which sharing and caring are reciprocated. The people to whom you feel most close are the same people who feel most close to you. Character Strength#2: Fairness Treating all people fairly is one of your abiding principles. You do not let your personal feelings bias your decisions about other people. You give everyone a chance. Character Strength#3: Teamwork You excel as a member of a group. You are a loyal and dedicated teammate, you always do your share, and you work hard for the success of your group. Character Strength#4: Forgiveness You forgive those who have done you wrong. You always give people a second chance. Your guiding principle is mercy and not revenge. Character Strength#5: Honesty You are an honest person, not only by speaking the truth but by living your life in a genuine and authentic way. You are down to earth and without pretense; you are a "real" person.
