Hi. I am writing an argumentative research paper about the movie (I, Daniel Blake. Ken loach, 2016) my research is complete. I was wondering if someone can check my thesis statement.
I wonder if my thesis statement is good or not
This is my introductory paragraph. And I underlined my thesis statement.
British director Ken Loach, who has been carrying the struggle for survival of the working class to the cinema since the sixties, continues to insist on political cinema. In his dramatic movie, "I, Daniel Blake (2016)" which won the Palme d'Or at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, he successfully portrays the point where neoliberalism reached in England, which is one of the richest countries in the world. He depicts the negative effects of capitalism and neoliberalism on English working-class people, who can not succeed in this system. Kean loach shows these negative effect with the main character in the movie, Daniel Blake, who pushed out of the system after his heart attack. he shows the devastating effects of neoliberal policies like individualization, loneliness, poverty, and the changing bureaucracy. And since neoliberalism has devastating effects on people, neoliberal policies should not be used, and they should be replaced.
