  • You are wrong, a peripheral protein has no non-polar/hydrophobic components of it own. It will attach it self to some trans-membrane protein that does have non-polar interactions. Based on this fact alone, Answer A is incorrect!

  • Each proteins has hydrophobic residues which are buried inside the protein structure. It is given that all the hydrophobic residues are present in the protein but they are dispersed in throughout the structure.
